Credit Card Payments 

Credit card payments may be used online, in person at Township Hall or by calling Point & Pay at 855-839-7018.  A convenience fee will be applied. 

Mail

Mail Checks payable to Brighton Township Treasurer, 4363 Buno Road, Brighton, MI 48114 (do not send cash).  Please enclose the bottom stub of your tax bill along with your payment.  Please include your phone number on your check, should we need to reach you regarding this payment.  If a receipt is desired, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope or email address for an electronic copy.  We do NOT accept postmarked or post dated checks.   Checks are accepted only as a conditional payment.  If your check is not honored by your bank, the payment will incur a $35.00 fee as well as your account may be subject to further interest. 

Drop Box

We encourage payments in the box located in the drive-thru island in the parking lot.  The drop box is checked several times per day.  If you desire a receipt, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope or email address for an electronic copy.  No cash payments, please, refer to the in person or pay at the bank options for cash payments.

In Person

Payments are accepted at the Treasurer’s office along with the bottom portion of your tax bill.  If paying by check, please have it filled out with your phone number before reaching the Treasury counter.

Pay at the Bank

Tax payments are accepted at Flagstar Bank (LEE ROAD and Old 23 Branch) in Brighton only.  Please bring your original tax bill with you when making your payment at the bank.  A receipt of payment made will be given to you.  Only full payments will be allowed at the bank.  The bank will only accept cash or check.
